As the first edition of the tournament to be held, the 2022 IHF Wheelchair Handball World Championship is surely something that wheelchair handball fans will not want to miss. Scheduled to take place in Hassan Moustafa Sports Hall on 6th of October City, Egypt from September 22-25, 2022, the competition is expected to draw teams and spectators from all over the world.
So far, six teams have been confirmed to participate in the tournament, with the host Egypt ed by one team each from Asia, Europe, and South and Central America. With the competition played using mixed teams (i.e. each team must have at least two female players, with at least one female player on the court at all times), the stage is set for some exciting matches.
