A total of 113 gorgeous and talented women from countries all over the world are slated to compete for the coveted Miss World 2024 crown. The extensive list includes delegates from the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, Asia, and the Caribbean islands. Some fan favorites include Miss Brazil, Miss Philippines, and Miss India. Of the 113 aspirants, one young lady will go on to wear the blue crown at the end of the star-studded ceremony on March 9th, 2024.
71st Miss World 2024 Date, Time and Venue
The grand final of the 71st annual Miss World pageant will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India. The event is scheduled to start at 7.30 pm IST and conclude at around 10.30 pm IST, with the winner being crowned by her predecessor at the end. This is the first time since 1996 that India will play host to the Miss World finale.
71st Miss World 2024 Telecast Details
Fans and audiences can watch the final competition and crowning moment play out live on television. In India, Zee TV holds the broadcasting rights for the event, allowing Indian viewers to catch every minute live. International audiences can view the final via London Live in over 150 countries worldwide. The telecast is slated to capture every aspect of the pageant – from the opening dance routines to national costume presentations and Q&A rounds – leading up to the ultimate coronation.
The selection committee has introduced exciting events like multimedia voting, talent competitions, a top model competition and the head-to-head challenge leading up to the night of the main event. After multiple eliminations, rounds of swimsuit and evening gown walks, and personality assessments – the winner, first runner up and second runner-up will be determined based on viewers’ votes combined with judges scores. The coveted blue crown will mark an end to the lavish Miss World 2024 event until it returns for its 72nd edition once again next year with an all new batch of contestants.
