CBSE 10th Result 2019 – How to Check CBSE Class 10 Exam Result Online

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has already informed that it will publish the tenth exam results for the academic year 2018-19 by the third week of May 2019. The Board, however, did not specifically mentioned the dates. The CBSE last time published results for tenth online on May 29, 2018. The results are usually published through the CBSE’s official portal cbse.nic.in and through examresults.net.

There are many other websites to check the results if in case, the above ones do not work. The results are also available through results.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in. To check the results you need to know your registration number, date of birth, examination center code. The results are available for or print out, once you submit all your details correctly in any of the above mentioned sites.

This academic year the tenth exams concluded with the social studies paper on March 29, 2019. 31 lakh students have ed for the tenth examination this year, out of which 18 lakh students are boys and 12 lakh students are girls. The number of transgender students applied for the CBSE tenth exam of 2019 is 28.

How to Check CBSE Class 10 Exam Result Online

Here are the steps to follow for getting your CBSE tenth results.

1. Log onto any one of these four websites: cbse.nic.in, examresults.net, results.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in

2. Click on the text link named “CBSE tenth results 2019”

3. You will be taken to a new window where you will be asked to fill in your roll number, school number and date of birth.

4. After you fill in the details, click on the submit button at the bottom

5. The result page will be displayed to you. Now save the page or print out the page for any future use.

How to get/calculate marks percentage from CBSE 2019 tenth results

To calculate the percentage of marks from the grades or grade points, you can make use of the below table. To calculate the percentage of marks first find the overall CGPA score.

To get the overall CGPA score, add up the CGPA points corresponding to your marks in the main five subjects and then divide it by 5.

Multiplying the overall CGPA score with 9.5 will give you your percentage of marks.

 A2  81 to 90  9
 B1  71 to 80  8
 B2   61 to 70  7
 C1  51 to 60  6
 C2 41 to 50 5
 D 33 to 40 4
 E1 21 to 32 None
