Saheb was born in the year 1988 in Tirutani, a small village in Tamil Nadu. Despite being financially weak, he was very interested in his studies. He did his early education at Gaudi School in Tiruvallur and Mission School in Tirupati. After this, he completed his studies at Christian College through scholarship. In 1916 he did his MA in Philosophy and became an assistant professor at Madras Residency College. At the age of 16, Dr. Saheb got married.
